Welcome to the official website of the Liberia Media Center (LMC). This site contains all the information you need about the work we do in fostering media development in Liberia and details about other services we provide.
The LMC was established in 2005 by the Partnership for Media and Conflict Prevention in West Africa in collaboration with the Press Union of Liberia. It’s main goal is to assist the media improves its capacity and ultimately the overall standards of journalism through the provision of training workshops, research activities and access to technical working resources of media practitioners and outlets.
This site also caters for general information about the media landscape in Liberia and provides up-to-date data on the number of media outlets in the country with contact details and relevant information. It also provides the opportunity to anyone to post comments on critical national and international media subjects and debates on our news blog.
